Snowbirds
This quilt was inspired by a Jinny Beyers pattern, "Snowbirds."
The snowfalls I remember as a child in Virginia were more a glowing light blue than white, so these beautiful winter birds are flying across a cool, pale blue background. Rendered in Jennifer Sampou's ombre fabrics, the winter birds shimmer with winter light and magic.
Hand stitching "in the ditch"--inside every seam and around every bird--gives this quilt a lovely, soft, inviting quality.
This beautiful throw-sized quilt measures 30" x 51."
Washing instructions
Machine wash, gentle cycle, cold water.
Machine dry, permanent press setting.
