Fire in the Evening, in Fabric
This wall hanging was fostered by two inspirations: the Japanese boro tradition, and by Paul Klee's painting, "Fire in the Evening." It is created in raw edge patches of color handstitched to a neutral grey background. This is a stunningly unique piece that will look beautiful in any room.
Paul Klee was a Swiss-born German artist whose free, open, beautiful style has long-inspired my own creativity.
The dimensions of the piece are 15" by 34" long. It hangs from a dowel threaded through a sleeve stitched to the backing.
How does my purchase benefit others?
